A suprise party was held on March 2nd at The Cross Keys, for Richard Patchett (ex Chairman) who is leaving Winterton to live in Saffre.
During the evening two presentations were made; first a set of garden tools, presented by Jack Morton on behalf of all the members and second an inscribed Plaque presented by Gail Summerfield on behalf of the Association. | |

We are now planning our trip to Saffre which is from August 17th to 24th. This year, to avoid the 8 hour coach journey from Calais to Saffre we will sail from Portsmouth to Caen, this cuts the journey in France to 3 hours so we will arrive refreshed. The total cost will be £264 per adult and child half price. This is the only price paid as all other costs, board, meals,excursions and entertainment are met by the Saffre Hosts. We have a few places available so if you would like to see what twinning is all about come and join us, have a cheap holiday and you do not have to speak French. You will be pleasantly surprised and families are welcome. |
