Speeding and Traffic Calming
North Lincolnshire Council are consulting on speeds on our roads and how to improve some of the roads in the Town. North Lincolnshire Council are considering putting speed humps on Earlsgate as a traffic calming measure. They are the ones like those on Ferry Road in Scunthorpe. It is hoped that the lighting on Earlsgate will also be improved as we have had several people asking for it to be much brighter on Earlsgate in the Winter Time.
Consultation on the Local Development Plan
This is about the boundary line which documents where development can take place and where it cannot. North Lincolnshire Council are looking to give local councils the opportunity to change the boundary line which will show where permitted development will be over the next 25 years. You can see this on the North Lincs Council website and if you have any views on this please let Winterton Council know what you think.
Winterton Community Plan
To update its Five-year Community Plan and to help formulate a Ten-year Community Plan, Winterton Town Council hope you will find time to complete their survey.

Please click here to view the questionnaire.
Contacting the Police
Please note that the Police are asking people who do have problems with anti-social behaviour to come forward and phone them. People can speak with them anonymously. The number to call is 0845 606 0222. Posters will be put up around the Town shortly to advertise this and the fact that the Town Council has a limited number of small mobile CCTV's which they are willing to lend for a few weeks.
