Civic Service 2011
Cllr Francesca Marritt and Consort Stuart Marritt had a very successful Civic Service on the Winterton Showground at quite short notice. Civic Dignatories joined Francesca, her family and councillors for a small reception at the Chapel in the Cemetery from around the County. This is something which has not been done for around 12 years but the weather was lovely and everyone sat outside for the service which was followed by a bar be cue on the Showground which people booked and paid for if they wished to attend.
2010 Civic Service
Winterton Mayor Cllr Fran Fletcher and Consort Richard Fletcher held a Mayoral procession from the Old School Village Hall to the Methodist Chapel for the 2010 Civic Service. This was joined by the Scounts and Girls Brigade. Other Civic Dignatories came from around the County including the High Sheriff and the local school children sang at the Service as well as The Mayor's Daughter. Light refreshments were served after the service.
2009 Civic Service
The 2009 Civic Service was held at the Methodist Church on 4th October.

The event started at 2.30 p.m. and the Mayor of Winterton, Councillor Linda Cawsey, Mr Ian Cawsey MP and Civic Guests were joined by the Mayor of North Lincolnshire, the Girls Brigade and the Royal Engineers who brought their colours in to the Methodist Church.
There were light refreshments after the service which were provided by members of the Winterton and District Lions Group. The Town council contributed a donation of £300 to cover the cost of the refreshments, and the Lions pledged any money they made to local charities.
